Originally trained as a chemical engineer, David instinctively applied systems thinking to people, drawing on engineering and physics to explain complex human dynamics in ways that people could immediately understand and apply.

The Meeting That Sparked a Partnership
While leading Family Business Australia in New South Wales, Imelda Bergin was introduced to David by the owner of a large family business.
The owner believed David's work had not only helped the organisation navigate one of the most challenging periods in its history, but had also contributed to its transformation from a single Australian factory into a thriving global business.
Intrigued, Imelda met with David and invited him to speak at a Family Business Australia conference in Sydney. That meeting would change the direction of both their careers.
